I almost creamed in my apartment after I received my bill for the months. My bill for the month is $130 in my apartment —- $30 dollar increase from my average bills. I’ve got to make immediate measures with my budget for summer is approaching.

Here are some of strategies that I’m implementing today!
• Turn the computer off when it is not being used. Being a internet savvy this my first strategy.
• Monitor the fridge.
• Hand wash dishes instead of running the dishwasher.
• Close vents in unoccupied rooms of your home
• Turn lights off. Also buy the new energy- saving light bulbs.
• Set your thermostat at 70°F in the winter and 78°F in the summer.
• Proper home insulation.
• Plant trees around the house to provide shade in the summer.
• Run your ceiling fans in the summer to stay cool, the moving air makes you feel cooler.
• Don’t overload the dryer and keep the filter clean.
